    Rebecca's winning streak continues

Last year was an emotional one for Julie – and Rebecca Gibney’s portrayal of the Rafter matriarch struck such a chord with fans that the actress took home another Silver Logie in 2010. TV WEEK chatted to her moments after her win.

What’s going through your mind right now?
I’m thrilled. I’m still a bit shaky. But I can’t believe that I just told the whole of Australia that I’m feeling a bit premenstrual! I was thinking that and it actually came out of my mouth!

Was it quite an emotional experience?
It was very emotional. I only just held it together. I thought I was going to cry, but then I thought, "Oh, don’t cry! That’s what actresses do.” It means so much to still be valued by the Australian public.

You must get stopped in the street constantly…
Yes, but I don’t mind. I’m a great believer that we’re all the same – we just have different costumes on. They’re entitled to a part of me.

Any nerves stepping out on the red carpet tonight?
Yes, there were. I don’t know why, but I got really nervous. Maybe it was because this dress was so tight that I thought it might split!
